Over time, Kris’s interest in serenity, peace, and coping has led her to the concept of living in the moment, the practices of mindfulness, meditation, and yoga and to the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn, Tara Brach, Marsha Linehan, and others. Her mindfulness workshops are the outcome of this process.
In Kris’s mindfulness workshops, people gather together to explore and experience how certain attitudes cultivate awareness and mindfulness, thus helping us to live in the moment, and ultimately experience more peace and serenity in life. Through thoughtful discussion and experiential exercises, participants focus on the following attitudes: patience, trust, curiosity, wisdom, acceptance, letting go, generosity, not judging and practice.*
These workshops are lively and thought-provoking while also being relaxing and centering. Participants leave committed to living more fully in the moment.
